October has been a month to remember here at Three Rivers Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Marked Tree, Arkansas! Our residents and staff have enjoyed a variety of exciting activities that brought joy, laughter, and a strong sense of community.
We kicked things off with a fantastic Trunk or Treat event hosted right here at our facility. The turnout was incredible, so many families and community members came dressed in their Halloween best, ready to celebrate. Participants went all out, decorating their trunks with creative themes, spooky scenes, and festive flair. It was heartwarming to see everyone come together to make this event so special for our residents.
Another highlight of the month was our participation in the Senior Olympics. Residents and staff teamed up to compete in a variety of fun and friendly challenges. The energy was high, the smiles were contagious, and the spirit of competition brought everyone closer together. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate wellness, teamwork, and the vibrant spirit of our community.
And perhaps the most special moment of all, Mr. FJ turned 100 years old this October! We were honored to celebrate this incredible milestone with him and his family. They joined us at the facility for a joyful birthday party complete with cake, laughter, and heartfelt memories. Mr. FJ’s century of life is an inspiration to us all, and we’re so grateful to have him as part of our Three Rivers family.
As we wrap up October, we’re filled with gratitude for the moments we’ve shared and the memories we’ve made. Thank you to everyone who helped make this month so meaningful.
